State Academy of Industrial Management is named after a famous Russian businessman and patron – Nikolai Petrovich Pastukhov. He was the man of progressive view and even in far 1900 was intended to provide industrial enterprises with skilled personnel in Russian regions.

The Academy carries out lots of international programs, cooperating with European Institute (Sweden) gives double diploma (Russian and Swedish pattern), on behalf of Austrian quality society it arranges training and assessment of staff as EOQ-managers and EOQ-auditors according to quality-, environmental-, occupational- and other management systems.
